Rose Bowl Hall of Fame
2004 Inductee
Jim Stivers was a volunteer with the Rose Bowl for over 50 years, attending almost every event at the stadium. Stivers had incredible talent to connect people to each other to make sure that problems got solved.
Stivers was a long-serving member of the Rose Bowl Operating Company Board of Directors, and also volunteered with the Tournament of Roses Association for over 50 years.
He was born in Kentucky, but moved to the Pasadena area as a child. He worked as a ship builder in Long Beach during World War II. He later entered the commercial building trade, running the business the rest of his life, eventually moving it into the property management trade. Stivers passed away in 2010.
