Mark Dantonio finished his career as the winningest coach in Michigan State history and retired as one of just seven Big Ten coaches to have at least six 10-win seasons on their resume. During the 2013 season, Dantonio led the Spartans to Pasadena for the 100th edition of The Granddaddy of Them All for the first time since 1988. The Spartans defeated Stanford in the game, 24-20. He went on to lead Michigan State to the College Football Playoff in 2015. He led the Spartans to three Big Ten titles and was named Big Ten Coach of the Year twice. Dantonio ranks No. 11 in Big Ten history in both overall wins as a head coach with 114 and Big Ten Conference wins with 69. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2024.
