Tournament of Roses - Rose Bowl Game

2025 NFL Combine

General

2025 NFL Scouting Combine to showcase 59 Rose Bowl Game Alums

The NFL Combine is an annual, week-long showcase of the top college football athletes in front of executives and team personnel for all 32 NFL teams.

The 2025 Combine will be held in Indianapolis from February 27 to March 2, with NFL personnel on hand to evaluate the nation's top college football players eligible for the upcoming NFL Draft.

The NFL invited a total of 329 prospects to the 2025 NFL Combine. Of those invited, 59, or one in every six players invited, has played in or been an active player during the year that their team played in the Rose Bowl Game.

About half of those Rose Bowl Game alumni are from the 2025 CFP Quarterfinal at the Rose Bowl Game presented by Prudential. Ohio State will showcase a staggering 15 players at the combine, while Oregon is not far behind with 12. There are 19 players from the 2024 edition of The Granddaddy of Them All at the combine, as Alabama has 10 and Michigan has nine representatives. Penn State has six players who played in the 2023 Rose Bowl Game at the Combine, while Utah has three from that matchup. There are a pair of quarterbacks that were backups for their teams in the Rose Bowl Game as Kyle McCord was with Ohio State for the 2022 game and Tyler Shough was with Oregon back in 2019 season.

There is at least one player from both teams attending the combine dating back to the 2021 Rose Bowl Game. Key players to note include 2025 Defensive Player of the Game Cody Simon (Ohio State) and 2024 Defensive Player of the Game Mason Graham (Michigan).
