For the eighth straight year more than 20 players who have played in or were on a roster for a team that played in a Rose Bowl Game were selected in the NFL Draft. A total of 47 Rose Bowl Game alums were selected in the 2025 draft, the second highest total in recent history and five more than last year.
Ohio State tied the NFL record with 14 players selected.
Oregon was just behind with 11 players selected.
Michigan and
Alabama had seven players drafted. Here is the breakdown of picks by round:

At least one player was drafted from the last six Rose Bowl Games, including players from both schools from the 2024 and 2025 games.

The Rose Bowl Game has accounted for multiple top-ten picks for the sixth year in a row and the ninth time in the last 11 years.
In the 2025 Draft, 28 of the 32 NFL franchises selected a player who has been a part of America's New Year's Celebration. The Arizona Cardinals selected four players who have played in the Granddaddy of Them All, while the Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts, LA Rams, Pittsburgh Steelers and Seattle Seahawks picked three. Six different teams selected two Rose Bowl Game alums.
