With the Rose Bowl Game presented by Capital One Venture X set to return to Pasadena on New Year's Day, the Pasadena Tournament of Roses, and
CLEAR (NYSE: YOU), the secure identity company, today announced a partnership to streamline proof of vaccination by using CLEAR's Health Pass technology. All fans attending the 2022 Rose Bowl Game will be able to use the
free CLEAR app and Health Pass feature to securely and easily show proof of vaccination or test results - creating a safer fan experience and getting fans back to
The Granddaddy of Them All.

CLEAR's Health Pass is a free, mobile experience on the CLEAR app, which securely connects a person's verified identity to proof of vaccination and test results. There are multiple ways to add proof of vaccination including SMART QR codes like those issued by California, New York, Walmart, and Rite Aid, linking to CLEAR's network of pharmacies and providers, or directly uploading your CDC card and vaccination information. Test results can be linked directly from CLEAR's nationwide network of providers.
"CLEAR's experience working with major events and sporting venues is a great fit for the Rose Bowl Game presented by Capital One Venture X," said David Eads, CEO and Executive Director of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses. "Their Health Pass technology will help fans of The Granddaddy of Them All enjoy their game day experience, and we are thrilled to be partnering with them."
"The Rose Bowl Game is such an important event not just for college football but for the entire Pasadena community, and we are proud to partner with the Tournament of Roses to help create a safer fan experience," said Caryn Seidman-Becker, CLEAR CEO. "With Health Pass, fans will be able to spend less time worrying about fragile paper vaccine cards and test results and more time cheering on their team."
This partnership builds on CLEAR's recent
Come Back Better initiative to help businesses and organizations of all sizes safely keep going. CLEAR's Health Pass has been used by more than 130 organizations across the country and across industries to help create safer environments, including the Golden State Warriors, San Jose Sharks, Las Vegas Raiders, and Seattle Seahawks. Additionally, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City, and Seattle recognize CLEAR as an approved form of proof of vaccination.
